Importing Contacts into iPhone   
Insert SIM card into your phone then go to settings, scroll to the bottom and from there you will see import SIm contacts.

Or put your contacts in csv into your email client yahoo, gmail or your preferred email client. iPhone will sync with your email and download the contacts. Yahoo is a free service so it's convenient to use to transfer your contacts.
